SHELTER RESERVATION APPLICATION
Park facilities are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
Once you have fully completed the application, someone from Town Hall will call you for payment. If you do not receive a call by the next business day, please call (704) 278-4777 to ensure we have received your application.
The Town of Cleveland accepts cash, checks, and cards for payment. Please make checks payable to: Town of Cleveland.
BY REQUESTING A DATE, DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE DATE IS GUARANTEED. FOR A GUARANTEED DATE, YOU MUST HAVE PAYMENT TO TOWN HALL; FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
A separate permit is required if there are 75 or more people in your group.
The shelter is not reserved until the entire payment has been received, along with the completed application and a signed hold harmless agreement. Applicant acknowledges a copy of the Parks & Recreation Ordinance and agrees to abide by it. Only the Town of Cleveland may make changes, cancellations, or additions to this permit.
By submitting this application, the applicant understands by clicking submit, they will abide by the ordinance and have a copy of the ordinance below.
Hold Harmless Agreement
In consideration of the receipt of this permit from the Town of Cleveland, permittee hereby releases the Town of Cleveland from all injury and any liability of any kind arising from permittee’s use and occupancy of town property and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Cleveland, its agents or servants.
In no event shall the Town of Cleveland be liable for any damage or injury to permittee or any agent or employee of permittee or to any person coming upon the premises in connection with the permittee’s use and occupancy of the premises.
Permittee acknowledges that it shall reimburse the Town of Cleveland for any and all damage to the Town of Cleveland property, its agents and/or its servants as a result of the use and occupancy of the premises (ordinary wear and tear expected) by permittee, its agents, or servants, or by any person coming upon the premises during the permittee’s use as an invitee or licensee of the permittee.
Permittee agrees that the rights and obligations under the permit and this agreement shall inure to and be binding on its successors and assigns.
